The Yaeger CPA review course was not the first CPA review course I ever used. The result was much better than anticipated as I succeeded in passing the three sections with flying colors.

The founder, Dr. Phil Yaeger, has prepared people for the exam since 1977. I made loads of calls to this hotline and have spoken to very patient professors (including Dr. I found the lecture videos quite engaging and led by well qualified lecturers. The videos kept to a a simple format where tutors explained the key practices and gave multiple choice questions and samples. One benefit of the Yaeger system is that more lecture time is taken up with materials that will more likely appear on the paper. Similarly, they would only ask people to spend time on doing practice questions with high probability of turning up in the actual exam.

Also worth a mention are Yaeger's cram DVDs which could be responsible for adding between 5 to 15 points to your exam results. The cram DVDs vary in length (between 7 to 16 hours) but cover relevant sections thoroughly. All Yaeger CPA review course materials are updated annually, including lesson videos which are re-filmed annually. Thus, the candidate can be confident that they are studying from the most current information.
